Why Tyler Is Even More Dangerous in Wednesday Season 2 Explained by Actor

The Season 34 semi-finale of Dancing with the Stars swapped its signature “Surprise! You’re all going to the finale!” twist for one with an unexpected elimination. The show said goodbye to Whitney Leavitt and Mark Ballas this year. Here are the five pairs who scored a place in the Season Finale with their enthralling performances in the Prince tribute night episode.

Who are the finalists of DWTS Season 34?

The first pair to make it to the DWTS finals are Elaine Hendrix and Alan Bersten. The duo’s foxtrot, while lovely, lacked a certain spark. However, Elaine bounced back with a bang with a paso double, undeniably her best performance of the season. The duo’s intoxicating passion and unmissable intensity paid off as they secured a spot in the finale, scoring a total of 57 out of 60.

Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy are the second DWTS finalist couple of the season. While Alix and Val’s Argentine tango screamed potential, the funky beat of “Little Red Corvette” didn’t complement the sensual vibe they were going for. Luckily, she redeemed herself with an awe-inspiring Viennese waltz. Undoubtedly, Alix’s best performance of the season earned her a finale spot and an impressive 58/60 score.

The third couple to make it to the finale are Jordan Chiles and Ezra Sosa. Although Jordan’s Round 1 jive performance was ambitious, it failed to make a lasting impression. However, she made up for it with a jaw-dropping Argentine tango in Round 2. The judges believed that she finally found her groove and awarded her perfect 10s, totaling a well-deserved 57/60!

Robert Irwin and Witney Carson claimed the fourth finale spot. Robert crushed it with his semifinals jive performance. Although the Viennese waltz was a bit of a curveball, Robert and Witney aced it with style, showcasing elegance and power. Judges seemed to love both performances and scored them 59/60.

The final finale duo is Dylan Efron and Daniella Karagach. Dylan’s cha-cha was a bit of a head-scratcher, especially when he messed up his footwork when the troupe joined in. The tango, although better than the previous performance, seemed a little disoriented. Nevertheless, he made it to the finale by earning a score of 55/60.
