HERSHEY, Pa. (WHTM) — Union workers at two Hershey Entertainment and Resorts properties agree on contracts, but negotiations continue as of Friday at three others, the company said.
The two properties are the Hershey Lodge and the Hershey Country Club. Discussions are ongoing at Hotel Hershey, GIANT Center and Hersheypark, which opens its summer season next week.
Leadership from Chocolate Workers Local No. 464, the union representing the employees, said in a statement yesterday that plans are being made to return to the bargaining table next week with the company. The letter emphasized that “no strike is imminent.”
Union leadership has not publicly shared what they are seeking in the negotiations.
Hershey Entertainment and Resorts properties continue operating, and Hersheypark plans to open the summer season as scheduled on May 21, the company said.
