PORTLAND (WGME) — Portland Ovations, which books entertainment events, says it’s had to cancel two different upcoming performances because of visa issues.
The cultural organization says the visas for the members of the dance group “Les Ballets Africains” were denied.
The dance group is based in Africa and hasn’t been able to come into the country.

Another group, “Flip Fabrique,” had their visas delayed, so they’ve canceled the beginning of their U.S. tour.
