Horror lovers can gear up in their cosplays to attend Evansville’s annual Horror Con Feb. 28 and continue until Mar. 1, at the Old National Events Plaza.

Attendees will have a chance to visit panels that include horror movie screening rooms, a horror cosplay contest and celebrity talks.

Along with the panels, there will be over one hundred vendor booths, so make sure to bring some cash to pick up a spooky souvenir. In addition to the vendors, there will be celebrity meet and greets along with the chance for photos and autographs, with guests including Jack Osbourne, David Howard Thornton, Samantha Scafini, and many more.

On your way in or out, don’t forget to visit the food trucks stationed outside the building to get some BBQ, tacos, burgers and many more.

Celebrity psychic medium Kenneth Drake will give a presentation about witchcraft in 1980s horror. He’ll talk about how the Satanic Panic influenced scary movies and pop culture during that time. The event is family-friendly and only available at Evansville Horror Con.

This workshop teaches what makes a monster memorable. It shows how to create original monsters for books, movies, and games by using folklore, psychology, and creative design. Participants will learn about monster myths, traits, and personalities, and then start creating their own monster.

Think you know horror? Put your knowledge to the test in this fast-paced trivia competition covering movies, characters, and classic horror moments. Compete for bragging rights and prizes if you dare.
