Taylor Swift was no stranger to Madison Square Garden before it became the reported venue for her wedding to Travis Kelce. The “Cornelia Street” singer, who has been in a relationship with Kelce since 2023, has performed several concerts at the iconic New York City venue in midtown Manhattan, including two stops on her headline tours and four appearances at Z100’s iHeartRadio Jingle Ball.
Ahead of her highly-anticipated nuptials, Us Weekly breaks down every time Swift has performed at MSG.
The Fearless Tour
Swift made her MSG concert debut in August 2009 during her first headlining tour, Fearless Tour, promoting her second studio album, Fearless.
“I’m freaking out,” Swift told Rolling Stone before she took the stage at MSG. “I had to force myself to go to sleep last night, because I ran through the set list 400 times in my mind: every single change, every single step.”
The show’s setlist featured many of her early hits, including “Love Story,” “Our Song” and “Should’ve Said No.”
The Speak Now Tour
Swift returned to MSG in November 2011 to perform two back-to-back shows during her Speak Now World Tour, in promotion of her 2010 album, Speak Now.
The MSG shows were full of surprises, including a handful of celebrity cameos. During the November 21, 2011, stop, Swift was joined by Goo Goo Dolls frontman Johnny Rzeznik to perform a duet of the band’s beloved song “Iris.”
For the second MSG show on November 22, 2011, Swift brought out legendary singer-songwriter James Taylor to perform duets of his hit “Fire and Rain” and her song “Fifteen.” That same night, Swift brought out longtime friend Selena Gomez to perform her song “Who Says.”
Z100’s Jingle Ball 2012
One year after her Speak Now World Tour appearance, Swift returned to MSG on December 7, 2012, to headline Jingle Ball.
She made the appearance while promoting her 2012 Red album and sang many of her new songs at the time, including “State of Grace,” “I Knew You Were Trouble” and “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.”
Swift was also joined onstage by Ed Sheeran to perform their collaboration “Everything Has Changed,” which marked their first performance of the song.
Ed Sheeran’s + Tour
After Sheeran supported Swift as an opening act on her The Red Tour, he brought her out as a surprise guest during his November 1, 2013, stop at MSG during his + Tour. The duo performed “Everything Has Changed” together.
Z100’s Jingle Ball 2014
Swift returned to MSG for a fifth time to perform at Jingle Ball on December 12, 2014, while promoting her 1989 album.
She opened the performance with “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” before she sang additional hits, including “Blank Space,” “I Knew You Were Trouble” and “Shake It Off.”
Z100’s Jingle Ball 2017
Swift returned to MSG for Jingle Ball on December 8, 2017. While promoting her Reputation album, Swift performed tracks from the album including “…”Ready For It?,” “Gorgeous” and “Look What You Made Me Do.”
Meanwhile, the event also marked a reunion for Swift and Sheeran when he joined her on stage to perform their Reputation track, “End Game.”
Z100’s Jingle Ball 2019
Swift’s most recent Jingle Ball appearance took place on December 13, 2019, when she was promoting her Lover album. The event was held on her 30th birthday, and the crowd surprised her with a rendition of “Happy Birthday” as Elvis Duran brought out a giant, three-tiered.
“I had a choice,” Swift told the crowd during her set. “Where would I want to spend my 30th birthday? The answer is: you’re looking at it. This is the first show of the 30th year of my life.”
