The swinging and dancing Savannah Bananas are only a few days away from bringing their signature brand of baseball and TikTok-friendly dancing to New Orleans this weekend.
The mega-popular baseball team will play fellow Banana Ball team the Party Animals on Saturday and Sunday at the Caesar’s Superdome.
The Bananas play a version of baseball that emphasizes entertainment and the fan experience. Along with traditional baseball, fans can expect some athletic hijinks during the game and the teams’ famous choreographed dance numbers.
Are you still looking a for a ticket? Did you win the ticket lottery and want to know about parking?
Here’s what you need to know about the Bananas two games at the Superdome:
Tickets
The Bananas play the Party Animals Saturday at 6 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m.
Official tickets to the games are sold through a lottery system on the team’s website.
The lottery for tickets for the Saturday and Sunday games ended last October as passes for both nights at the Caesars Superdome quickly sold out.
While the Bananas discourage fans from buying tickets from third-party sellers, saying they are “likely fraudulent,” plenty of tickets were still available on platforms like SeatGeek and StubHub as of Wednesday.
On StubHub, last-minute tickets range from $50 to over $500 either night. On SeatGeek, prices start at around $100 to nearly $900 for a luxury suite.
Fans who weren’t able to purchase tickets during the lottery could still be in luck of buying a ticket without spending exorbitant prices from third-party sellers. The Bananas launched an official market for fans to sell tickets at face value on their Fans First website.
Parking
Advance parking at the Caesars Superdome garages was sold out as of Wednesday afternoon. Fans still in need of parking can reserve spots at paid lots near the Dome in downtown New Orleans on sites like SpotHero.
