Tyla has claimed a decisive victory in this week’s InMusic Instagram poll. The South African star’s new single, “Is It Love,” dominated fan voting with 83% of the vote, comfortably outperforming new releases from i-dle, Chlöe & Timbaland, and Chris Brown.
The result highlights the growing anticipation surrounding Tyla’s upcoming sophomore album A*Pop, due July 24 via FAX and Epic Records. Released on June 18, “Is It Love” arrived alongside a visually striking music video.

According to the poll results, “Is It Love” secured 83% of the vote, while i-dle’s “Crow” finished in second place with 9%. Chlöe and Timbaland’s collaborative mixtape Resurrection followed with 5%, and Chris Brown’s BROWN (The Chocolate Edition) rounded out the ranking with 3%.
The strong showing comes as “Is It Love” continues building momentum on streaming platforms. The single has already accumulated nearly one million Spotify streams and serves as the third preview of A*Pop. Unlike some of Tyla’s previous releases, the track places greater emphasis on vocal performance, particularly during the emotionally charged chorus built around the repeated lyric, “Is it love, is it love, if you don’t cry, cry, cry?”
Competition this week featured several high-profile releases. On June 15, i-dle launched a new era with “Crow,” the lead single from the group’s upcoming mini album We made, scheduled for July 6.
Meanwhile, Chlöe joined forces with Timbaland for Resurrection, a 13-track Juneteenth mixtape released on June 19. The project pairs Chlöe’s dynamic vocal delivery with Timbaland’s signature production style, drawing inspiration from late-’90s and early-2000s R&B.
Chris Brown also expanded his latest era with BROWN (The Chocolate Edition). Released on June 19, the deluxe edition adds 10 new tracks to the original album, bringing the total to 37 songs and featuring collaborations with Wizkid, Tyga, and Ty Dolla $ign.
