Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman called it quits after 19 years of marriage, and somehow his guitarist, Maggie Baugh, found herself at the center of romance rumors.
Maggie’s father reacted the rumors when he took to social media to reshare an AI-generated TikTok video, according to TMZ.
“Keith has been spending all his time with the band, rehearsing with Maggie. Perhaps through prolonged closeness, Keith and Maggie’s relationship grew quickly,” the video claimed, adding that Kidman has been out of town filming. “Keith was secretly dating Maggie.”
Chuck Baugh captioned his post, “NO. Just No,” seemingly shutting down the rumors about his 25-year-old daughter.
News of Urban and Kidman’s separation broke on Monday, with TMZ noting that they had spent the summer apart. The next day, the Big Little Lies actress filed for divorce in Tennessee, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.
It didn’t take long for fans to being speculating on the reason for the shocking breakup, with many pointing to the rising country star.
Maggie shared a video days before the divorce filing of herself on stage with Urban, showing him change the lyrics to his hit “The Fighter” in her honor.
“When they’re tryna get to you, baby I’ll be the fighter,” the original lyrics read. Urban, however, sang, “When they’re tryna get to you, Maggie I’ll be your guitar player.”
“Did he just say that,” she captioned the video with “eyes” emoji, further fueling the rumors.
