Frankie Grande — singer, Big Brother legend and the brother of pop princess Ariana Grande — is no stranger to making a statement on the red carpet, but his 2025 MTV Video Music Awards look might just be the most over-the-top (and iconic) of them all.
Taking place at UBS Arena in Elmont, New York, Grande stepped out at the 2025 VMAs in a bright yellow ensemble that had fans freaking out via social media (specifically X).

Tonight (September 7), Grande created quite a bit of buzz when he stepped onto the VMAs red carpet, rocking a two-piece suit that attendees needed sunglasses to see for themselves.
While the suit is comprised of a bold black-and-yellow zebra-like print, the glam and accessories are what tie the entire look together…
To accessorize, the 42-year-old opted for some silver rings, as well as a chunky silver heart chain. The hair and makeup is what truly steals the show, though, donning a tousled mullet-like hairdo, as well as smokey eyeshadow and graphic eyeliner that matches the pattern of his attire. How cool is that?
To top things off, he even painted his nails black to match!
Nevertheless, Grande shared some red carpet photos to his X account, causing quite a bit of chatter from his supporters:
“THE NIGHT HAS JUST BEGUN AND I’M BUZZZZZZINGG⚡️⚡️ @mtv @vmas is one of the best nights of the year!!! @CBS,” he wrote to accompany three solo shots from the event, and needless to say, fans had a field day in the thread:
“Wait this look is ICONIC”
“You look GOODDDD Frankie 💜”
“This fierce look is already serving 👑😘🫶🏼 DELIVER US BABE 🔒😍✨✅😌👑”
His attire might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but there’s no denying that Grande stood out at the 2025 VMAs. Nevertheless, see more of our favorite red carpet looks from tonight HERE.
After all, Gabby Windey might take the cake as best dressed!
