FREDERICK, Md. (DC News Now) — A western Maryland filmmaker is releasing a new horror film just in time for Halloween.
Jordan Miller produces indie movies. His latest work, The Only Ones, was released on Friday.
The films take the viewer through a weekend with a group of friends and a string of misfortunes that spiral into bloodshed.

Miller, who has produced some award-winning pictures, said he has been fascinated by spooky motion pictures since he was a child.
“I think there’s a need inside of people to do creative things,” says Miller. “If I wasn’t doing this professionally, I would still find a way to do it. We’re always looking to get to the next level, to try to do things more challenging, to tell bigger stories.”
The Only Ones streams on Amazon Prime starting at 6 p.m.
Miller says it is the passion of being behind the camera that drives him, and he is always coming up with creative ideas to put on film.
