READING, Pa. – Jake Willets scored in the final minute to give the Royals a 3-2 victory over Wheeling on Sunday at Santander Arena.
Cam Cook and Jacob Frasca also scored for Reading, who never trailed. It is the third win in the last four games for the Royals who are tied atop the Eastern standings with the Nailers and South Carolina.
The two teams will skate again on Tuesday morning in an Education Day matchup.
