Rep. Nancy Mace (R-South Carolina), known for her controversial behavior in Congress, cursed at and berated police officers at the Charleston International Airport in South Carolina.
In June, Mace introduced a bill to defund “sanctuary cities” in response to the anti-immigration protests in Los Angeles. In February, she accused her ex-fiancé of assault on the House floor.
Two Charleston County Aviation Authority police officers had been informed at 6:00 a.m. that they would need to escort the congresswoman from the curb to her flight, the incident report noted.
Officers were told she would arrive at 6:30 a.m. in a white BMW, according to the report.
