
Gracie Abrams applauds Paul Mescal’s ‘Hamnet’ performance: ‘Also I love him’
Gracie Abrams cannot stop heaping praise on her boyfriend, Paul Mescal, following the huge success of his latest film, Hamnet.
On Friday, January 17, the 26-year-old actress took to her Instagram Stories to gush over her 29-year-old beau and the movie’s remarkable impact.
“I’ve found it nearly impossible to find the words to describe the weight of this film and the way it has remained in my bones since I saw it for the first time,” Abrams wrote.
She added, “But we are sat in the kitchen right now and I am looking back on these pictures and got immediately teary, so I’m just going to say that Chloe is singular. Jessie is singular. Paul is singular.”
Toward the end of her heartfelt tribute, the I Love You, I’m Sorry hitmaker urged fans to experience the film for themselves.
“Thank god for what they made. Go see it and you will be better off,” Abrams concluded.

Based on the life of William Shakespeare, Hamnet won the Best Film – Drama award at the 2026 Golden Globes.
Directed by Chloé Zhao, the film stars Mescal alongside Jessie Buckley, Joe Alwyn, Noah Jupe, and Emily Watson.
Melting fans’ hearts further, the That’s So True songstress also shared a photo of the Aftersun actor with the caption, “Also I love him surprise.”

Gracie Abrams and Paul Mescal have been dating since around June 2024, when they were first spotted together publicly in London.
