Greg Gutfeld and Jimmy Fallon have some — drunken — history.
The Fox News personality was a guest on the Thursday, August 7 episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where he revealed he once partied with the late-night host.
“You have no memory of it because we were wasted,” Gutfeld, 60, informed Fallon, who appeared amused.
The Five co-host explained that he and the comedian, 50, share a mutual friend named Tracy, and both were at his speakeasy in New York City on the same night “about 15 years ago.”
“I see you, and you look at me, and your eyes just kind of explode,” Gutfeld recalled. “And you run towards me, and you tackle me, like you’re a giant Golden Retriever, you’re like on top of me, and so we’re wrestling.”

According to Gutfeld, Fallon began wrestling another friend — until he noticed that the Gutfeld! host was smoking.
“I light a cigarette, and I’m smoking it, and you stop, and you come over to me and you grab it and you crinkle it, and you go, ‘These things will kill you,’ and you threw it,” he recounted. “And then I go, ‘Dude, I’m not rich. You’re rich, cigarettes are expensive in New York City.”
While his actions were well-intentioned, Gutfeld said Fallon seemed to regret tossing his cigarette.
“All of a sudden, your face changed, and you looked sad, and then you left,” Gutfeld shared. “And then five minutes later, you come back with a fresh pack of Parliaments, and you hand them to me, and you go, ‘Here.’ And I go, ‘That was really sweet. You want me to die.’”
For his part, Fallon burst out laughing and apologized for “tackling” Gutfeld. Fallon also corroborated Gutfeld’s story, saying, “I remember. All the details you said are correct … it definitely happened.”
