Erewhon dropped Hailey Bieber’s name from its hit smoothie, but fans kept ordering it daily by the original name, fueling viral video across socail media of the $20 drink
The Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie, once known as the Hailey Bieber Smoothie at Erewhon, remains the store’s top-seller even after the celebrity name was stripped from the menu.
Even after the high-end grocery store no longer lists Bieber’s name, demand for the $20 pink drink hasn’t slowed down. “Her contract ended, so we can’t say Hailey Bieber,” a smoothie counter cashier at the Beverly Hills location told Page Six.
Still, hundreds of customers reportedly request it by her name every day. The employee claimed they serve at least 600 of the smoothies daily, more than any other item in the store’s cold beverage section. This comes as the chain has set its sights on moving to New York.

“All the customers don’t know. They still say Hailey Bieber. She’s not getting anything, but it’s good for us,” one worker said.
While the model didn’t create the drink herself, her name and image helped push it to go viral across TikTok after its debut in 2022.
The drink was originally brought onto the chain as a limited-time menu item, but the buzz surrounding it extended its shelf life.
“People still call it the Hailey Bieber. It rolls off the tongue better than saying Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie,” another employee added.
The smoothie blends organic strawberries, almond milk, bananas, avocado, dates, maple syrup, collagen peptides, sea moss gel, and coconut cream. The pink-and-white swirl remains instantly recognizable to fans and social media users.
“It’s still the same ingredients, it’s still sweet. It still has the spirit of Hailey!” said one Erewhon worker. “It’s the best one. By far our most popular. You’re going to love it!”
Even without the formal endorsement or contract, the drink continues to benefit from Bieber’s previous promotion and name. In a May interview with Vogue, she called the smoothie her daily essential.
“I have one every single day. I would say it’s probably 90 percent of the reason my skin looks the way it does,” she said.
Fans on TikTok took to the comment section of one video, voicing their opinions on the smoothie’s $20 price tag.
“idk that’s the price of a cocktail and a lot healthier than one, sounds worth it,” one TikTok user penned.
Another wrote, “She has a skincare brand and tells on vogue magazine that her skin looks good because of a smoothie, no one ever told her about how marketing works?”
“For a lot cheaper, you can make smoothies at home, it costs next to nothing, and actually tastes good, and make whatever flavor you want,” a third ecoded.
Despite the chain dropping Bieber’s name from the Smoothie, the drink remains priced at $20.
