Former Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson are reportedly not welcome at his nephew Peter Phillips’ upcoming wedding, and it seems Prince Harry may also be excluded.
In a May 2026 interview with Sky News, TalkTV host Mark Dolan confirmed that Harry and Meghan Markle were not on the guest list for Peter’s wedding.

“It’s a royal snub; it’s the royal wedding of the year, and it is Princess Anne’s son, Peter … and the bottom line is that Harry has not been invited,” Dolan revealed, adding that Harry is actually “banned” from the event.
As for the reason why, Dolan claimed that Peter “doesn’t want Harry to take the headlines.” Additionally, palace officials reportedly believe Harry and Meghan are “toxic” and “would ruin the special day.”
This comes after a friend of Peter and his fiancée, Harriet Sperling, told Hello! magazine that Harry wasn’t invited to their wedding. “Peter and Harry haven’t spoken for several years and have simply lost touch, so he hasn’t been invited,” they explained.
Peter and Harriet are set to marry on Saturday, June 6, with several members of the royal family expected to attend. Peter’s mother, Princess Anne, and her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence, will be present, along with King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William, Kate Middleton, and many others.
Anne’s brother, Andrew, and his ex-wife, Fergie, are expected to miss Peter’s special day. On May 14, The Daily Mail reported that it’s highly “unlikely” Andrew will attend due to his friendship with the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein garnering renewed attention.
Fergie is also not expected to be there, as the couple’s friend previously told Hello!, “Peter and Harriet’s wedding is an intimate occasion with their close friends and immediate family around them in the Cotswolds. It’s an area where they grew up and is very special to them both.”
“When and whether Andrew Mountbatten Windsor and Sarah Ferguson had been invited, it was probably not deemed appropriate to invite them,” the source continued. “It’s Peter and Harriet’s special day, and clearly their attendance would cause a distraction to the whole day.”
