In her recent appearance on Are You a Charlotte? podcast, Heather Graham discussed the unforgettable past that she shares with Heath Ledger, the brilliant actor who passed away at the age of 28.
“I feel proud that I dated him,” Graham emphasized during their conversation. Kristin Davis recalled that she had seen the exes together, smitten with each other, almost two decades ago. She gushed over the connection she saw between them. During this Los Angeles run-in. Davis did not interact with the couple, choosing to leave them alone.
“Yes, I dated him. I think we might’ve watched the show together, and I think he actually really liked it,” Graham said. She also told Davis how she and Ledger caught Sex and the City together, leaving the host surprised.
Davis further recalled when she saw the couple together, “At the time you two were just this ray of light in this Coffee Bean,…You were kinda giggly and touching each other. I was like, [gasp sound]. I was like, ‘Hold it together.’ You were cute.” Davis did admit that she regrets not talking to them that day, but she did what she believed was the best way to go.
Davis said they appeared so free with each other, she did not want to interrupt that. Graham understood her point and said, “I was very in love with him when we dated. He’s kinda amazing.” She added, “I wish he were still alive. That would be nice. [But] some of these really bright lights don’t get to live so long.”
The two dated from 2000 to 2001. After their breakup, Ledger went on to have a few more high-profile relationships.
