Holly Ramsay has shared bold bridal photos ahead of her wedding to Adam Peaty as a body language expert explains the hidden message behind the pictures
As her wedding to Adam Peaty approaches, Holly Ramsay has shared some provocative photos from a revealing lingerie shoot, with a body language expert interpreting a significant message.
The influencer, who is the daughter of renowned chef Gordon Ramsay, has experienced plenty of drama leading up to her special day due to a bitter rift between the Peaty and Ramsay families. On December 27, Holly, 25, is set to tie the knot with Olympic swimmer Adam, 30, in an extravagant ceremony at the historic Bath Abbey.
The event promises to be memorable, with celebrities like David and Victoria Beckham on the guest list. However, it’s believed there will be some noticeable no-shows on the big day, with Adam’s sister Bethany likely being the only family member from his side in attendance.

Despite this, as the December countdown begins, bride-to-be Holly seems “hell-bent on enjoying her big day”, sharing risqué photos filled with apparent symbolism.
In a seemingly defiant Instagram post captioned “iiit’s Wedding Month”, Holly appeared carefree in a Victoria’s Secret bralette and brief set, topped off with a floor-length veil. Speaking to the Mirror, body language expert Judi James observed: “There’s a clear message of determination and resilience from the way Holly is creating a ‘Wedding countdown’ for Adam, showing she’s hell-bent on enjoying her big day as well as the build-up, no matter what dramas are swirling around her.”, reports the Mirror.
“Most guys hearing their wife-to-be was posting a pic dressed in Victoria’s Secret undies and a bridal veil would be expecting something sexy, naughty and very ‘hen night’. But Holly’s pose and her outfit here show she’s not a girl to make assumptions about. The undies look more like a sports bra and pants that appear aimed at sending a message of strength rather than cheese. They focus the eye on her muscular arms and ribcage, hinting at a sense of physical and emotional power.”
She added: “This is hardly a vanity project, either. The photo is shot against the light, meaning Holly is in virtual silhouette and, despite her wide, slightly forced-looking smile, her eyes are cast away from the camera, hinting at shyness. The veil shows a desire to focus emphatically on Adam’s enjoyment of and expectation for the wedding and the build-up. As a personal message, this pose seems to be a strong reminder to him that this is their day and no one is going to spoil it.”
Behind the fairy-tale wedding facade, planning has been clouded by a brewing family dispute, which has allegedly resulted in Adam’s devastated mother, Caroline Peaty, being excluded from the ceremony entirely. Friction allegedly intensified after the Olympic champion’s mother was conspicuously absent from Holly’s upscale hen party at Soho Farmhouse, with her sister Louise Williams speaking candidly about the perceived slight.
Speaking directly to Holly on social media, Adam’s aunt expressed her disappointment: “I expected better of you and definitely of Adam. You have inflicted a hurt on my sister that will take a very long time to heal if ever.”
Louise further alleged that Adam and Holly excluded Caroline from the wedding after she failed to apologize for missing a recent shopping trip for wedding attire due to train disruptions.
The Olympic champion has also reportedly prevented his mother from spending time with five year old George, his son with ex-partner Eirianedd Munro. Louise now alleges that her sister discovered she’d been removed from the guest list while dropping George off with his mother, forcing her to hide the profound “hurt and betrayal” she experienced in front of her young grandson.
Beyond the issues with Caroline, other family members of Adam’s have reportedly struggled to cover the expenses for lodging and transportation. One relative revealed to The Sun: “We were sent a ‘save the date,’ and it’s all these country houses. I’m on Universal Credit – I can’t afford that.”
Family members have also suggested that Adam feels “ashamed” of his working-class background, and “has been changed by money, fame and fortune”.
One family insider stated, “He seems to have forgotten where he came from.”
Speaking to the Mail Online previously, former nursery manager Caroline disclosed that she has still selected a gift for the pair from their registry, noting, “It’s a decent present.”
The grandmother, residing in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, also plans to send a card, though she admits, “I don’t know if they will even open it.”
Yet, it seems Caroline hasn’t abandoned hope that Adam might reconsider. The mother, who claims she devoted herself to backing her son’s professional pursuits, said: “If he changed his mind, I would go. I want to go to Bath, to go into the abbey, to watch him get married. I love him, he’s still my little boy.”
In other developments, Adam’s bachelor party also triggered additional controversy, with the sportsman reportedly growing alarmed after supposedly receiving “increasingly abusive and threatening” text messages. These became so troubling that concerned fiancée Holly contacted the police, following discussions with relatives.
Adam’s elder brother, James, 34, was subsequently arrested at his residence in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire, but has now been released on bail. Distressed Adam was greeted by officers when he touched down at Manchester Airport, amid concerns he could be attacked.
A source told The Sun: “The issues that have been reported don’t stem from hen do or wedding invitations; it goes so much deeper. Things escalated over the weekend when someone became increasingly abusive and threatening over text. Adam was trying to enjoy his stag do and was getting freaked out by it all.”
A spokesperson for Staffordshire Police confirmed: “We arrested a 34-year-old man, from the Uttoxeter area, on November 11, 2025, on suspicion of harassment. The man was released on conditional bail while our enquiries continue.”
Adam’s father, Mark, who reportedly wasn’t present at the stag party, has now weighed in on the sibling rivalry, acknowledging that things have escalated. Speaking to The Sun, Mark said: “They’re brothers, they’ve always been close, but like any normal family, brothers fight, argue, fall out, makeup and start all over again. But it’s got out of hand, there’s been very little empathy towards Jamie’s genuine mental health difficulties.”
Adam, recognized as one of the greatest sprint breaststroke swimmers in history, recently addressed the controversy on Instagram, stating: “For those who know me personally, you know that I work so hard on trying to improve myself as a person who wants to contribute to making the world a better place.
“I am continuing to learn about myself and how I can be the man I want to be; a worthy partner, father, businessman, friend and athlete; even through these challenging times. Bethany, Holly and I will get through this – we do not ask for sympathy. We just need people to be aware that there are always two sides to every story. To those of you who have reached out and shown kindness and understanding – thank you. It is deeply appreciated.”
