Ahead of the release of their new album Watch It Die, out November 14 via La Vida Es Un Mus Discos, Home Front share the album’s latest single and music video, “Eulogy.”
Regarding the new single, the band say the song, “Is a reflection on what it means to lose the people we care about. In these turbulent times, we recognize death comes for us all, but it’s the recognition of someone’s lasting impact that leaves its imprint on us. We all have scars, but wear ours proudly as we move forward into the haze.”
Watch It Die directly follows the group’s 2023 full-length album Games Of Power. Across 12 tracks, Watch It Die expands upon Home Front’s signature blend of emotionally raw lyrics and danceable post-punk compositions.
“For us, ultimately, this is music that comes out of loss and heartbreak and failure, but I hope people have a good time listening to us,” the band says of the new album. “You can get rowdy, you can get emotional, you can do whatever you want, but maybe with all of that freedom, we all take a second to reflect on all our fallen brothers and sisters and friends who may have slipped away.”
Following the album’s release, Home Front will tour California throughout November, playing select shows in Sacramento, San Fransisco, and Los Angeles.
