Recently reunited Arizona band The Format will be on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Monday, Oct. 6.
The band was set to perform as the show’s musical guest on a night that also features Taylor Swift promoting her newest album “Life of a Show Girl.”
The reunited Arizona duo’s appearance on Fallon follows their return to active duty at Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Phoenix with a sold-out performance as part of the 2025 Arizona State Fair Coliseum Concert Series on Saturday, Sept. 27.
The sold-out State Fair concert was the first of three full-band performances they announced this summer, including sold-out dates in New York City and Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles on Friday, Oct. 10.
Here’s what to know about the special late night show and how to watch it in Arizona.
Taylor Swift will also be on Jimmy Fallon that night
Fallon announced the appearance by Swift on his Instagram page using gambling props and a roulette wheel. The clip shows Fallon playfully placing bets on a black 10, black 6 and red 25 before giving the wheel a spin. The ball lands on a black 13, a nod to Swift’s lucky number.
After losing his wager, Fallon quips, “Baby, that’s show business for you,” referencing a phrase associated with Swift’s showgirl era and one of her eight limited-edition vinyl variants.
Swift’s appearance will follow the release of her 12-track album, music video for “The Fate of Ophelia” and only weekend that she will show her 89-minute movie “Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl” in theaters.
