Hulk Hogan may have died due to a devastating medical mistake that cost him his life, according to an explosive new report from TMZ.
Law enforcement sources familiar with the Clearwater Police Department’s report on the 911 response told the outlet that an occupational therapist was present at Hogan’s Florida home when he stopped breathing. The therapist allegedly told police the 71-year-old legend was a victim of medical malpractice.
The shocking details emerged after the Clearwater police responded to Hogan’s residence following the 911 call on July 24. Body camera footage captured conversations between officers and the therapist who allegedly told responding officers that during a recent surgery — either to repair Hogan’s heart or a neck-related procedure — a surgeon “severed” Hogan’s crucial phrenic nerve, which controls breathing by stimulating the diaphragm.

His wife Sky Daily also made the claim to TMZ that Hogan’s phrenic nerve was compromised during surgery, though she declined to reveal autopsy results.
Unlike a typical heart attack, Hogan simply stopped breathing without any chest pain or distress, sources told the outlet. That’s when Daily called 911.
As Star recently reported, the wrestling icon’s daughter, Brooke Hogan, called widespread reports that her father had leukemia “BS.”
The investigation continues as the wrestling world mourns the loss of one of its biggest stars.
