READING, Pa. – Hunter Johannes recorded a hat trick as Reading scored the final four goals of a 7-3 win over Norfolk on Saturday at Santander Arena.

Johannes broke a 3-3 tie with his second goal of the game midway through the second period. Alec Butcher gave the Royals some breathing room with another tally seven minutes later and Nolan Burke and Johannes scored in the third period as Reading won going away.

The two teams run it back on Sunday afternoon to wrap up the weekend series.
