HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – North Alabama artists are saddling up and heading to Nashville, Tennessee for AMERICANAFEST 2025.
For this year’s event, two separate music events will take place in the Music City to showcase the sounds of the Tennessee Valley.
Muscle Shoals Meets the Rocket City:

Presented by FAME Recording Studios and the Huntsville Music Office, several North Alabama artists will perform at Martin’s BBQ in downtown Nashville.
From Common Man and Karmessa to The LeBlanc Family Band, this event pays tribute to the historic, rich music of the Shoals as well as Huntsville.
Additionally, Kensie Coppin will share the stage with Steve Knight.
GRAMMY winner Mike Farris will close it out with an American roots performance that will remind the audience of the power of music in the Tennessee Valley.
Rocket City Ramble:

Marking its second year, The Rocket City Ramble is coming back to Acme Feed & Seed on Broadway.
This afternoon marathon showcases Huntsville musicians on the big stage.
With The Burney Sisters kicking off the afternoon with a signature blend of harmonies, Hollan and Jayne & The Huntsmen will follow with soulful and electrifying sounds of their own.
The LeBlanc Family Band, Mike Farris and Steve Knight will also perform while Treetop & The Gifted will close out the show with a perfomance that captures the city’s creative momentum.
“We’re excited about opportunities like this that put local talent on a national stage and showcase why we are becoming one of the country’s most exciting music hubs,” said Huntsville Music Officer Matt Mandrella. “The Rocket City bringing some of North Alabama’s best to Nashville for these events in September especially reinforces our position within the Americana Music Triangle.”
Both events are completely free of charge.
