The cast for the 2026 season of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! has finally been revealed after weeks of teasing. Robert Irwin and Julia Morris are back for another installment of the popular Channel 10 series, with the first episode set to kick off this Sunday.
The network put out a bunch of clues for who would be featured this year, which included a “rugby Romeo”, a Hollywood sitcom star, an “international supermodel”, “soap royalty”. We would also be promised a “Master Chef”, an “AFL A-Lister”, a “radio queen” and a few other big names.
Naturally, Aussies have been speculating who these could all be ever since the hints were dropped, but now the first cast member has been revealed.

Who are the celebrities in Australia’s I’m A Celeb 2026?
At the moment, we only have one contestant announced and it’s NRL player turned reality TV star turned book influencer and author Luke Bateman.
He is the ‘rugby Romeo’ that was promised and we’re still waiting to see who else will join in South Africa to win $100,000 for the charity of their choice and be crowned the king or queen of the jungle.
“I’ll be trading the Australian outback for the African jungle,” Luke said in a post on Instagram.
“I’ll be going into the jungle representing my charity Farm Angels, which is charity very close to my heart.
“They do amazing work in my community, and I’m very excited to see what Robert and Julia have cooked up for me in there.
“I’m sure there’ll be some delectable food items and some fear-instilling trials. I can’t wait. I’ll see you all in the jungle.”
Farm Angels is a small charity that’s run by “people with big hearts” who support Aussie farmers and rural communities.
Robert Irwin’s eye-watering salary for I’m A Celebrity 2026
Robert could be pulling in millions of dollars for co-hosting the popular TV show this year.
And a big portion of that is due to his win on the American version of Dancing With The Stars late last year.
Publicist to the stars, Max Markson, previously told Yahoo Lifestyle the victory could skyrocket the 22-year-old to a level of fame that could rival his late father.
“He’ll get serious money in terms of endorsements and more television in America,” he said.
“He can definitely not just follow in his father’s footsteps, but he can do other things that he wants to do, and that’s really important for his family.”

New Idea reported that the youngest Irwin could stand to earn as much as $3 million for his few weeks of work on I’m A Celeb in 2026.
“That’s genuinely the ballpark he’s playing in now,” an “industry source” told the outlet.
“A lot of American shows approaching him are hovering around that figure.”
It’s unclear how much his co-host is receiving, however a news.com.au report from 2023 claimed she was being paid $700,000 each season at the time.
