The former TOWIE star has impressed I’m A Celebrity… South Africa viewers, and now many think she’ll win the ITV series
Fans of I’m a Celebrity… South Africa believe Gemma Collins could take the crown on the ITV programme.
The former TOWIE star has made her return to the jungle for the all-stars edition of the show, revealing she was in search of “redemption” following her departure from the original series after just three days back in 2014.
She has continued to win over fans with her behaviour in camp, and after consoling her fellow campmate David Haye when he struggled in his latest trial, viewers are now tipping her to take the top spot.
Boxer David fell short in the Wicked Watering Hole trial, confessing afterwards that he struggled with defeat and it would “eat him up for a while”. Gemma stepped in to comfort him – a gesture that caught fans off guard, given that David has not been her biggest supporter in camp so far, reports Wales Online.

“I think Gemma is having a redemption arc which has come as quite a surprise to me,” one viewer posted on X after watching the scene unfold.
“I would have Gemma winning this series, tbh never thought I would say that, enjoying her this series,” another user wrote on the platform, formerly known as Twitter.
“Gemma I’ve never been a fan of but how sweet was she with David tonight!” commented another fan of the show, which is hosted by Ant and Dec.
Somebody else admitted: “I misjudged Gemma and I think she’s brilliant TV. Also wouldn’t be mad if she won.” Another viewer remarked: “Must admit Gemma Collins is pretty funny, never used to like her but can see her winning this show.”
“Gemma Collins is absolutely brilliant,” declared another fan, while others commented on how she was “smashing” camp life.
Others noted how impressed they were by Gemma’s helicopter entrance into camp.
The mode of transport represented a personal challenge for her, as she previously panicked about flying in one during her appearance on the original I’m A Celebrity series.
“Obsessed with Gemma overcoming her fear of helicopters within 4 minutes of being on the show!” one viewer noted. “That’s our winner.”
