IMPEL has added six new members to its membership.
IMPEL is the international collective licensing agency representing digital music publishing rights. It is 100% owned and controlled by its members, which include Bucks Music Group, Beggars Music, Reservoir Music, Kassner Music, CTM, ABKCO, Truelove Music, Faber Music, Mute Song, Budde UK, TRO Essex, Phrased Differently, Warp Music and many more.
The latest additions to the collective are First Original Music, Stone Rolla Songs, The Royalty Network, Out Of The Ark Music, Lyst Music Publishing and CTRL Music.
Operating out of both Yorkshire and London, First Original Music is a music rights company with a focus on publishing and sync.
First Original Music director Phil Simpson said: “We’re so pleased to have partnered with IMPEL for the next stage of our journey. Though it’s early days, we know instinctively how strong a move this will prove to be for us!”
Stone Rolla Songs is an independent music publishing company based in London and Los Angeles. The company’s roster includes Swim School, who recently completed a month-long European tour supporting Suede, marking a major.
Notable sync placements include Scream VI, Spider-Man, EA Sports FC 24 and EA Sports FC 26, Grey’s Anatomy, All American and The Buccaneers, alongside major campaigns for Chevrolet, Samsung and Subway.

The Royalty Network is an independent music publishing company based in New York. For more than three decades, the company has represented multi-platinum catalogues and enduring works from artists including Bill Withers, Shaggy, Otis Redding, Ed Sheeran, Shakira, Bad Bunny, and many others.
The company has expanded its scope through notable catalogue acquisitions, most prominently the Norman Feels catalogue, and co-purchases of tracks such as Ante Up, Say Aah and You Don’t Know My Name.

The publisher represents a diverse community of writers, including Mark, Helen and Naomi Johnson, Antony Copus, Mary Green and Julie Stanley, and Rebecca Kincaid and Gaynor Boddy.

Lyst Music Publishing is an independent, woman-led publisher based in London with a presence in Athens, working across heavy, alternative and underground scenes including metal, rock and punk.
The roster includes 1000mods, Cancer Bats and Rotting Christ, with recent sync placements including a European Ford campaign and KFC Canada.
