Conor McGregor and Dee Devlin‘s wedding was a night to remember.
McGregor, 37, and Devlin, 38, shared photos and details of their December 12 nuptials exclusively with Us Weekly.
“Our family has a deep commitment to our faith, and there is no place more holy than the Vatican. Jesus has brought me to this day, and I am his faithful follower,” the groom told Us of their Italian ceremony. “We have been in communication with Vatican personnel for a while and had our son Rian baptized there last year. The Vatican has always been our first choice for a wedding location, and we are grateful it was approved.”
The UFC fighter admitted to Us that no expense was spared for him and his bride.
“I only dream big — and this day is big,” McGregor told Us. “ The instruction was: make it over the top. The costs equated to millions of euros, but that’s what I am lucky enough to do. I brought lots of family over from Ireland and am treating them to the wedding of a lifetime. But if I had a budget, I can tell you I would have broken through that.”
