While the post-holiday weekend blues are certainly hitting different this year, at least those of Us who weren’t lucky enough to score an invite to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s star-studded wedding can still get a taste of the couple’s real-life “Love Story” magic.
Just days after the couple exchanged vows in front of 1,000 of their closest family members and friends at Madison Square Garden on Friday, July 3, Us Weekly is learning exclusive new details about the somehow intimate ceremony — including what some of the most famous guests experienced inside the iconic New York City venue.
“The whole night felt really intimate and personal despite being in an arena and how star-studded the guest list was,” one source exclusively shared with Us. “There were about 1,000 guests there, but it felt intimate.”
While some wedding attendees — like Selena Gomez, Jessica Alba, Ciara, Kelsea Ballerini, Miranda Lambert and Maren Morris — have shared photos revealing their own wedding day looks, what happened inside the venue has remained private — until now.
From the sweet decor and elaborate food spread, to the heartfelt vows and rambunctious reception, Us has the enchanting wedding scoop from multiple sources below:
The Wedding Venue’s Transformation

Although Madison Square Garden is known for hosting the New York Knicks basketball team, the New York Rangers hockey team and the biggest musical performers on touring the planet today, the iconic venue completely transformed into a romantic wedding venue for Kelce and Swift’s special day.
“The entire wedding had an enchanted garden-inspired vibe,” a source shared with Us before describing the color palette as soft blush and light peach. “There was light peach drapery everywhere as you entered, blush and white florals, tons of lush greenery, huge trees and candlelight throughout.
The source said entering the venue felt like “walking into an enchanted garden,” as guests were able to see cocktail drink napkins, signs and custom handkerchiefs monogrammed with T&T initials.
“They transformed the venue into an elegant and unique wedding experience that reflected both their personalities,” a separate insider shared. “It was decorated elegantly, incorporating their down-to-earth style mixed in.”
A third source added, “Everyone was in awe of how Taylor and Travis managed to transform the Garden. It was the talk of the night.”
As an added touch, guests were first greeted by framed photos of Swift and Kelce throughout their relationship, along with photos of the Grammy winner’s cats featured throughout the displays.
“It was such a personal touch that made everything feel even more intimate,” one source revealed.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Wedding Fashion
As fans eagerly wait for the first photos of the bride and groom’s wedding looks, one source said Swift’s dress featured a “very long train.”
It was described as “incredibly classic and elegant.”
Another source said both Swift and Kelce wore white for the wedding ceremony.
Us previously confirmed the bride and groom wore looks created by Christian Dior Haute Couture. Their shoes were custom made by Christian Louboutin and the bride wore Cartier jewelry.
The Wedding Ceremony

Adam Sandler served as the officiant for a wedding ceremony itself, which reportedly lasted nearly an hour per multiple sources.
“Taylor was emotional while reciting her vows but kept her composure,” one insider shared. “You could tell she put a lot of work and time into writing her vows. Travis teared up more than Taylor. They shared very personal details and anecdotes that some guests had never even heard before.”
Another insider said Kelce and Swift’s wedding vows moved some guests to tears during an “incredibly emotional” celebration.
“The heartfelt vows took everyone back to how they first met and the journey that led them here,” the insider revealed. “Both of them were very emotional.”
Before any words were shared, multiple sources revealed that Swift walked down an extra long aisle to a string quartet version of her 2008 hit “Love Story.”
“Taylor and Travis both cried during their vows,” a third source said before claiming the star-studded wedding was so heavily attended that “it was standing room only for some guests.”
The Wedding Fun
After the ceremony, guests were treated to a true celebratory party featuring various arcade games, raffle prizes — ranging from a custom car to Cartier jewelry — cocktail bars and food stations offering a wide variety of fare, including sushi, steak, pasta and more.
At one point in the evening, Paul McCartney and Stevie Nicks performed for the newlyweds’ guests.
“Once the music started, everyone just blended into one huge dance party,” the source shared. “Travis had a huge smile. Taylor looked like she was having the absolute best time. She was smiling and dancing nonstop. The energy was unreal from start to finish.”
