If you’ve ever wanted to drink with “The Gang” from “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” then this is your chance.
Charlie Day, who helped develop and stars in the hit sitcom, is bringing his whiskey brand on the road and giving fans in Boston a chance to try a sip.
The actor will host four tasting events to celebrate his whiskey brand, Four Walls Whiskey, from Thursday through Saturday.
Day will bartend at The Rooftop at The Envoy at 7 p.m. Thursday and then at Lucky’s Lounge at 9:30 p.m. He will then step behind the bar at Back Bay Social at 8 p.m. on Friday and at Lansdowne Pub around 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
Day will pour drinks, meet fans, take pictures and bring “Sunny”-level energy to these popular watering holes.
Each event is a first-come, first-served event, so there are no tickets or reservations required for entry. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to get a good spot before the bars fill up.
“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” also stars Rob Mac (formerly McElhenney) and Glenn Howerton, who play Mac and Dennis, respectively. Day has received nominations for a Critics’ Choice Television Award and a Satellite Award for his role on the show.
Day also co-created the Apple TV+ comedy “Mythic Quest” and has appeared in multiple films including “Pacific Rim” (2013), “Horrible Bosses” (2011), “Horrible Bosses 2″ (2014) and Fist Fight (2017).
His voice acting credits include roles in “Monsters University” (2013), “The Lego Movie” film franchise (2014–2019) and Luigi in “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” (2023). Day made his directorial debut with “Fool’s Paradise” in 2023.
