A star-studded ITV game show with a fan-favourite host is returning for its biggest season yet.
A popular game show with a unique twist is making a highly anticipated return for its third series, with even more celebrities welcomed to the cast.
Just months after its second series wrapped up, it has been confirmed that Romesh Ranganathan’s Parents’ Evening is set to come back to ITV and ITVX.
Once again, the straight-faced actor and comedian will front the programme alongside his mother Shanthi, who never misses an opportunity to poke fun at her son.
Even more exciting is that the third series is set to be the biggest to date, comprising six episodes plus a Christmas special.
As yet, an official broadcast date has not been announced, though it is expected to air towards the latter part of the year.

Unlike conventional game shows, success isn’t determined by what you know, but rather what your parents believe you know, as celebrities team up with their mums and dads.
Not only do their parents select the questions for their famous offspring, but they must also predict whether they answer correctly.
If the celebrities meet their parents’ expectations, they pocket the prize money, but falling short means the cash is divided amongst the remaining teams.
The team accumulating the most money by the end advances to the final round, with the chance to double their winnings for their chosen charity.
The second series featured well-known faces including Pete Wicks, Jo Brand, Tom Allen, Fleur East and Sophie Ellis-Bextor, amongst others — so who will be stepping up for the third instalment?
Discussing the announcement, Romesh Ranganathan revealed: “I love this show so much and am delighted people are enjoying it enough that we’re doing it again.
“I can confirm that Mum will be joining once again following an email from ITV that said something like, ‘You need to recognise she’s the main draw.'”.
ITV’s entertainment commissioner Joe Mace commented: “Between Romesh, Shanthi and the incredible guests, this series is always jam-packed with laughs.
“I’m so pleased to be doing more and I can’t wait to see what funny revelations come to light this time around.”
Romesh Ranganathan’s Parents’ Evening returns for season three on ITV and ITVX later this year.
