Texas music/Americana Artist and Wichita Falls native James Cook is back home for a live album recording at the Iron Horse Pub.
“When you’re live, you really want to bring the energy. I think that’s really what I want to accomplish,” Cook said.
I sat down for an exclusive interview with the Wichitan about the opportunity to record the album in his hometown.
“The ability to bring this out is going to be something to give the fans what they want whenever they come to see the band. A lot of times they want that live show,” Cook said.
Cook said his set list will include songs from his first album to his newly released Texican Velvet from earlier this year.
“The fact that I get to do it where it all started makes it even more special. This night will be full of stories, songs, and the kind of moments that can only happen on stage,” Cook said.
The event will be held on Friday, November 28, at the Iron Horse Pub, located at 615 8th St. Doors open at 8:30 p.m., and the show starts at 9:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale on the Iron Horse Pub website.
