The music star also revealed that he grew a beard as a ‘cover-up’. “Ah, what’s up y’all? By now you have probably figured out that I look like a ninja turtle. Um, yeah, this is crazy. One of the reasons I even started growing a beard was because I was so obese. It was just easier to cover up what was happening here, you know?” Jelly Roll said. His wife, Bunnie Xo, documented the entire transformation and posted it on Instagram. She was as excited as every single fan of his. “You guys, I have been with my husband for going on 10 years now and I have never seen this man without his facial hair. Not one freaking time,” she said in the video. Meanwhile, Jelly Roll revealed that he had “lost 200 pounds” in a video in August. The star has been quite vocal about his weight loss journey. Earlier in April, he revealed that he started at 540 pounds and is now 357 pounds.
