Friends star Jennifer Aniston was visibly emotional on Drew Barrymore’s talk show as she reminisced about one of her dogs, which died.
The actress, 56, couldn’t hold back tears in an interview while discussing the deep connection she shared with Shirley MacLaine, her co-star from Rumor Has It, as she told her the pair were together when Norman, a Welsh corgi-terrier mix, passed away in May 2011.
Aniston welled up as she recalled that she was with MacLaine when Norman died and that MacLaine felt that she and Aniston had been mother and daughter in a former life. Aniston’s discussion of Norman comes after she has repeatedly spoken about her pets publicly.
On Barrymore’s show, the Along Came Polly actress shared, “I was with her when my dog passed away. Sorry, and I was at her ranch in New Mexico doing a past-life regression retreat. Which sounds crazy when I say it like that. Are you worried about me because I’m crying and my dog, I’m talking about Norman? Oh my gosh.”
Aniston went on to reveal that, according to MacLaine, they were related in a past life. She continued, “She believes that we were a mother and daughter in a previous lifetime, and I think it’s why we have such an instant bond. She’s just fantastic.”, reports The Mirror US.
MacLaine, a Terms of Endearment star, is well-known for her firm belief in reincarnation, claiming memories of past lives including being a harem girl in Turkey, a performer in ancient times, a Muslim gypsy in Spain, and even residing in the legendary Atlantis millions of years ago.
During the show, Aniston expressed her desire to share the screen with Drew, stating, “We’re gonna do something.”
Barrymore responded: “You know, you, me, and Adam [Sandler], I’m looking for it still. Jennifer interjected, “Come on. Death Becomes Her.”
The host then chimed in, “Sure, I mean, I would literally change my life to go do a movie with you and Adam. That’s how I feel because nothing would be a better time.”

Aniston also shared her aspiration to grace the Broadway stage.She confessed, “When I saw Annie for the first time I thought “Oh God what to be to be able to be on Broadway.”
Drew asked if that was a path she would consider pursuing.
Aniston affirmed, “Of course, I would love to listen. I know it’s a very sacred thing, the theater community, so I would be honored if I were invited into it.”
The E.T star replied, “I think if you look up the definition of a hot ticket. It would be you on Broadway.”
Jennifer then concluded, “It would be really fun.”
