Jennifer Lopez stepped out in full athleisure for a casual lunch date in Beverly Hills, California, yesterday. But you bet she gave the laid-back look her signature J.Lo touch.
The fit in question was composed of a skintight black top with a scooped neckline, and matching Marie Louise Paris leggings. White sneakers worn with long white socks completed the base.
But it was the accessories what brought the look into ritzy, glitzy, Hollywood territory. The “Save Me Tonight” singer shaded her eyes with Bottega Veneta’s oversize black-frame aviator sunglasses with yellow-tinted lenses. A stack of gold earrings adorned her ears, a woven gold watch (seemingly a vintage 1980s Van Cleef & Arpels design) and matching bracelet adorned her left wrist, and some gold rings decorated her fingers. But the piece of jewelry that stood out the most was Lopez’s big, gold nameplate necklace that practically shouted, “JENNIFER.” Not that anyone needs a reminder.
Lopez has long been a fan of the nameplate necklace, and seemingly owns quite a few. Over the years, we’ve seen her wear the very Y2K accessory not only featuring her own name, but also Ben’s—Ben Affleck, her ex-husband, that is. In 2022, after the two got married, she even stepped out wearing a “Jennifer and Ben” necklace.
But her most recent big, bold, sparkly “Jennifer” piece certainly hits different.
Ever the luxury handbag aficionada, J.Lo capped off her off-duty look with a Dior Groove 20 Tote Shoulder Bag in quilted black leather and golden hardware.
She was seen leaving celebrity hotspot The Ivy after a lunch with friends in her athleisure-meets-luxury look.
