John Cena and Irish wrestler Sheamus surprised fans by pulling beers behind the bar at a Dublin pub after the sold-out WWE Friday Night Smackdown at 3Arena.
Cena, 48, is making his final WWE appearances in Europe as part of his 2025 Farewell Tour, and he was joined in celebrating Friday by Irish WWE champion Sheamus, whose real name is Stephen Farrelly.
The pair celebrated at J.R. Mahons, an iconic Dublin pub and brewery known for its authentic Irish food, music and dancing. Cena hopped behind the bar to pull a pint of Guinness as the crowd cheered, and toasted fans before downing the pint in a single swig. Sheamus followed suit, raising his own glass to toast his hometown fans.
“This was absolutely electric,” said Robert Mahon, spokesperson for J.R. Mahons. “To have both John Cena and Sheamus behind the bar, celebrating with fans and embracing Irish tradition, was something special. Nights like this are what J.R. Mahons is all about – unforgettable memories, community, and the best of Irish hospitality.”
J.R. Mahons is earning a reputation as the go-to spot for celebrities’ post-show celebrations in Dublin. Camilla Cabello and Nelly Furtado visited the pub after their recent concerts, and enjoyed live music and traditional Irish dancing.
