For three years now, fans of Kaley Cuoco have loved seeing the actress blossom into becoming a mom to 3-year-old daughter Matilda. Now, she’s about to do it all again with baby number 2.
In a sweet announcement on Instagram, Cuoco shared the news alongside her partner, fellow actor and fiancé Tom Pelphrey.
The first two pictures in the gallery showed Cuoco, Pelphrey and Matilda in front of a big, rainbow sprinkled cake, which read “It’s a….” With a chunk of the cake missing, and a pink layer revealing itself on the inside, the family of three not only announced their new addition, but revealed they’re expecting another baby girl too.
“💖 completing our little family, what a dream come true!” The Big Bang Theory alum wrote in the caption.
“This second time around journey has been a little windier in many ways, but wow, we are so grateful for this moment!!” Cuoco continued. “Little sissy on the way!!! @tommypelphrey girl dad for life 🎀 and yes, the last pic is our dainty princess giving us the middle finger!🤦🏼♀️😆”
In addition to the cute selfies with the gender reveal cake, Cuoco completed the gallery with a few mirror selfies showing off her growing baby belly, a video of Pelphrey reacting to a 3D sonogram, and a picture of the baby flipping off her parents from inside the womb.
In the comment section, fellow A-listers are celebrating the couple’s big news.
“Sooo happy for you guys ❤️❤️❤️❤️,” wrote actress Beth Behrs. Actor Dave Annable also chimed in, writing, “Congrats you three!!! Team Girls❤️❤️❤️.” JoAnna Garcia Swisher from Netflix’s Sweet Magnolias also celebrated the news. “Congrats!” she wrote. “Two girls are the best!!!!”

Since welcoming their daughter, Cuoco and Pelphrey, who have been dating since early 2022, have been candid about how much they’ve learned as parents.
“Becoming a dad two and a half years ago now, it’s just the most f— awesome, wild, intense, crazy s— I’ve ever experienced in my life,” Pelphrey said in an interview with the LA Times in October 2025. “It’s like getting struck by lightning. I’m so in love and I feel so vulnerable and I feel so happy — it’s all the feelings.”
The happy couple has been engaged since August 2024.
