An old video of Kanye West complaining about his daughter, North West, using TikTok is making the rounds on social media again.
The rapper, 48, originally posted the video in March 2022, ranting about how he told his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, not to let North, now 12, post on the app.
“Hey, everybody, I just got off the phone with Kim, and I told her to stop antagonizing me with this TikTok thing,” he remarked in the video.
“I said, ‘Never again.’ I am her father,” he stated. “I know y’all don’t respect fathers and the idea of family and media tries to promote something. I said, ‘I am not allowing my daughter to be used by TikTok.’”
The video resurfaced after North took to the social media platform last weekend, posting a slew of photos and videos donning fake face tattoos, a faux septum piercing and black grilliz, along with her signature blue hair.
Many fans have critiqued Kardashian, 45, over the last few months for allowing North’s bold style, including letting the tween wear a strapless corset during a trip to Rome, Italy, in August.

A source told Globe that month that the “Gold Digger” hitmaker felt North was “way too young to be parading around like this.”
“He’s ranting and raving about this, saying Kim’s crossed the line and he’s not going to stand for it,” the source claimed.
Meanwhile, The Kardashians star appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast last week and said she wanted to let North express herself through her style.
“I’m like, ‘Babe, if you want blue hair, it is what it is,’” she quipped. “It makes her so happy. I would never take that creativity away from her.”
The Skims founder also noted it has “been a couple months” since she or the kids have heard from Kanye.
