KATIE Price has been pouring lots of her energy into her music career lately – and her new video features a controversial cameo from her pregnant cat.
The video for her latest single, Best Of Me featuring Lady Ice, landed on YouTube on Saturday.
It’s an upbeat dance track, where Katie, Lady Ice, and others are dancing around while a DJ plays.
For a large portion of the video Katie is posing provocatively on a bed or dancing with her hands going up to her chest.
Her figure-hugging clothing accentuates her full figure as she sings and jumps on set, feeling the beat.
Katie described the song as being “a powerful and emotional collaboration [… that] captures the journey of rediscovery, strength and self-worth.”
But after her ongoing battle with PETA and the RSPCA, featuring her bald, pregnant cat in the video could potentially land her in some hot water.
Towards the end of the video, Katie can be seen clutching onto the cat with both arms while wearing a pair of dark shades.
The cat appears well supported and in safe hands, but it could still be a risky move after previous pet-related problems she’s faced.
Last month fans of the singer and podcast host were furious about Katie bringing a sick litter of kittens with her on tour.
Katie brought them along to keep a closer eye on them, but fans insisted she was ‘harming these animals’ by causing them unnecessary stress.
“She [Katie] took sick kittens and mum cat to her show. You don’t move cats for stress reasons. The cats were premature. Main reasons for this is stress and infection,” expressed one user on social media.
“Everyone supporting Katie, but has everyone just forgotten how badly she treats animals? She’s literally singing at a show right now as her poor kittens are dying,” remarked another.
In the same month, social media users were concerned after Katie shared snaps of her designer Sphinx kittens as their collars appeared to be on too tightly.
“You’re supposed to be able to get at least two fingers under a collar,” advised a viewer on Instagram.
“Those things round their necks look a bit tight,” and “Take those collars off,” fumed others.
Katie has previously been visited by the RSPCA after her dog died from being hit by a car.
Six other pets of Price’s have passed away, including four more dogs, a horse and a chameleon.
PETA reportedly offered her a hefty sum of £5,000 if she’d agree to stop keeping pets.
Shortly after, Katie purchased her three Sphinx cats.
