Kehlani took another public stance against ICE officers. The 30-year-old singer took to social media over the weekend to condemn ICE agents and tell them she doesn’t want them listening to her music.

The artist took to Instagram to share that she doesn’t want ICE agents to listen to her music.
“(P)ublic service announcement,” she wrote on her Instagram story, according to The San Francisco Chronicle. “don’t ever fix your mouth to speak to me or ask for a photo or compliment me if you work for ICE. i’m dead to u.”
“don’t acknowledge me and delete all my music,” she added.
Kehlani wrote the text over a selfie that appeared to have been taken at an airport. She did not share what prompted to make the announcement.
This is her latest public stance against ICE. The artist previously condemned the agency during her acceptance speech at the 2026 Grammys.
“I hope everybody’s inspired to join together as a community of artists and speak out against what’s going on,” she said after receiving the award for Best R&B Performance, according to The San Francisco Chronicle. “Imma leave this and say f**k ICE.”
Kehlani was one of several attendees to wear pins indicating “ICE out” at the ceremony.
Kehlani has used her public platform for political advocacy in the past
The artist has taken public stances on political issues several times in the past few years. She has been a staunch advocate for Palestine, which led to some of her concerts being canceled. In April 2025, Cornell University cancelled a performance scheduled during the university’s Slope Day, as Blavity reported.
Although Kehlani did not specifically address the cancellation, she did speak out about the backlash she received for supporting Palestine. Per the San Francisco Chronicle, Kehlani said she was subject to “highly organized, typed-out, detailed death threats.”
Over the years, Kehlani has urged her fellow musicians to speak up about the issue.
“I am feeling October levels of rage,” she said in 2024, per Blavity. “The disoriance that is this f**king industry. That is my peers of highly f**king platformed people, well-paid people who have already beat the f**king game. And you can’t stop for a second and recognize that we wouldn’t have anything that we have — nothing we do has a f**king purpose without people and you can’t turn the f**k around and reach back for people? You can’t speak? Disgusting.”
At the time, Kehlani also called for a ceasefire and shared an infographic calling former President Joe Biden “Genocide Joe.”
