Ozzy Osbourne is gone but never forgotten, especially by his family.
His daughter, Kelly Osbourne, opens up to PEOPLE and Entertainment Weekly’s Red Carpet Live show about how she and her mom, Sharon, and brother, Jack, are keeping Ozzy’s memory alive ahead of a planned tribute to the late rocker at the Grammy Awards Sunday night.
“There’s so many things that we do,” she says. “We always keep a seat at the table for him, I light a candle every day for him. I wear a locket, which is under my dress so you can’t see it, but it has his picture in it, and my baby opens it every day and gives it a kiss and says hi to Papa. And every time I see the clock at 11:11 I know that’s him talking to me.”
The Recording Academy previously announced that Post Malone, Andrew Watt, Chad Smith, Duff McKagan, and Slash will perform a special tribute to Ozzy during the awards show, of which Kelly says, “It’s just such a beautiful thing that his peers are showing their love and respect for his work tonight and it’s going to be an emotional experience for us.”

The Grammy winner died at 76 on July 22 after suffering a heart attack amid health issues including Parkinson’s disease.
When asked how she’s holding up in the aftermath of his passing, Kelly says, “Ok. I won’t lie. I won’t be one of those people that say I’m fine because I’m not. It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever been through in my life.
“But I have my man,” she says, referring to her longtime partner, Slipknot DJ Sid Wilson, who joined her on the red carpet for the interview. “And I have my gorgeous baby and my mom and my brother and I are so bonded — I didn’t think we could ever get more bonded but we did.”
She continues, “My father was one of the greatest men to ever walk the planet, and I don’t have enough gratitude to the Grammys for what they’re doing tonight. It’s a really beautiful thing.”
Kelly and Wilson got engaged in July, backstage after her father’s final Black Sabbath concert. The couple first began dating in early 2022, and they welcomed their son later that same year.
Ozzy and Sharon were married for more than four decades. Sharon also served as his manager, and is the mother of three of his adult children: Aimee, Kelly, and Jack. From his previous marriage to Thelma Riley, Ozzy had three other children — Jessica, Louis, and Elliot.
