Kendra Wilkinson gushed about being a proud mother after her 16-year-old son, Hank Baskett IV, was accepted into two colleges.
Wilkinson, 41, took to Instagram on Thursday, July 16, to share a selfie, which included a caption with the exciting news.
“So proud of my son for already receiving 2 offers for college,” she wrote. “He’s heading into junior year at 16 yrs old and I’ve witnessed how hard he works everyday. So awesome and a great moment in our lives.”
Wilkinson concluded the caption with hashtags that read “Blessed” and “Go Hank.”
After Wilkinson shared the update, several fans took to the comments section to congratulate Hank.
“Congratulations 👏👏🎉 Great Job Mother and Son. A team effort for sure,” one person wrote, while another chimed in, “Awesome mom, awesome kids🙌 seeing our children progress fills our hearts with joy & pride!!”
The reality star shares son Hank and daughter Aliyah, 12, with ex-husband Hank Baskett. Wilkinson and Hank, 43, tied the knot in June 2009 and ultimately finalized their divorce in February 2019.
The couple hit a major roadblock in their relationship after Aliyah’s birth in 2014 when Wilkinson accused Hank of cheating. However, they tried to make things work, and Hank admitted to People in 2015 that he “messed up.”
“I put myself in a bad situation. And everything through me brought pain upon this family,” he said at the time.
The pair remained together for three years before they announced their plans to divorce in 2018.
“I will forever love Hank and be open but for now we have chosen to go our own ways,” Wilkinson wrote via Instagram at the time. “I’m beyond sad and heartbroken because I did believe in forever, that’s why i said yes but unfortunately too much fear has gotten in the way. … Thank you Hank for a beautiful 8 years of marriage and 2 beautiful kids. I feel so thankful and blessed.”
While Wilkinson and Hank couldn’t make their marriage work, they have been able to successfully coparent their children together.
Back in October 2024, Wilkinson exclusively told Us that she “couldn’t have a better coparent.” She added, “I couldn’t ask God for a better person in my life.”
During the same interview, Wilkinson gushed about how athletically talented her son is. “He’s playing basketball and you’re gonna see him in the pros,” she said of Hank IV. “You’ll see him in the pros.”
