The teen, who was the daughter of Filipino TV personality Kim Atienza, was discovered deceased at her residence in Los Angeles, with her cause of death recorded in Los Angeles County documents as ligature hanging. Her relatives released a statement on Instagram to announce the tragic news, portraying Emman as someone who “brought joy, laughter, and love” to those around her.
Emman, whose full name was Emmanuelle Atienza, was candid about her mental health battles, with her family revealing she “had a way of making people feel seen and heard.” Their statement went on: “Her authenticity helped so many feel less alone.”
