KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Planet Anime Kansas City is excited to announce that May Hong, the voice of Mira from “KPop Demon Hunters,” will appear as a featured celebrity guest at this year’s third annual event.
The event is scheduled to take place Nov. 21-23 at the Kansas City Convention Center.

Planet Anime attendees will have the chance to meet Hong, the voice behind the fierce and fiery Mira – a fan favorite in the global film sensation about demon-slaying idols that recently became Netflix’s most popular original movie of all time.
The animated hit has become a worldwide phenomenon for both kids and parents and has also taken over the music airwaves. “KPop Demon Hunters” became the first soundtrack to generate four simultaneous Billboard Hot 100 Top 10 entries in the chart’s 67-year history.
Hong is scheduled to appear at Planet Anime Kansas City on Saturday, Nov. 22, and Sunday, Nov. 23.
Produced by the team behind Planet Comicon Kansas City, Planet Anime will take over downtown Kansas City with three days of anime fandom, voice celebrities, artists, cosplay, vendors, special events, themed programming and more.
Friday, Nov. 21: 3 p.m. – midnight

Sunday, Nov. 23: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
