Kris Jenner is officially keeping up with the blondes.
The reality star, 69, debuted her latest hair transformation, going platinum blonde in an October 8 Instagram video shared by hairstylist Chris Appleton.
In the clip, Jenner sits with a towel wrapped around her head while Appleton stands beside her holding a mixing bowl, as the pair mouth along to Sabrina Carpenter’s “When Did You Get Hotter?”
When the video transitions, Jenner reveals her new blonde hair, styled into a sleek blunt bob with her signature dark roots peeking through. Appleton captioned the reveal, “Blondie @krisjenner.”
Jenner took her new look out for the night, posting a selfie and walking the red carpet with Appleton. “We had a fun little blonde moment tonight!” Jenner captioned an October 8 Instagram post. “Thank you to everyone who came out to help us celebrate the launch of the new @sharkbeauty Shark Glam at CUT Lounge at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel!!”
Jenner has embraced change in recent months. She broke the internet in May when she unveiled her rejuvenated face after undergoing a facelift by Dr. Steven Levine. In an August interview with Vogue Arabia, Jenner explained why she chose to get the procedure ahead of her 70th birthday in November.
“I had a facelift about 15 years ago, so it was time for a refresh,” she said. “I decided to do this facelift because I want to be the best version of myself, and that makes me happy.”
She added, “Just because you get older, it doesn’t mean you should give up on yourself. If you feel comfortable in your skin and you want to age gracefully — meaning you don’t want to do anything —then don’t do anything. But for me, this is aging gracefully. It’s my version.”
