Kristen Bell paid homage to the late Giorgio Armani with her Privé gown on the Emmy Awards 2025 red carpet in Los Angeles on Sunday.
The Emmy-nominated actress, who earned nods for her work in the Netflix series “Nobody Wants This,” wore a black-and-white gown with a sheer skirt featuring allover embroidered sequins and shimmering appliqués from the Armani Privé fall 2024 couture collection.

The bodice of the Knix campaign star’s sleeveless dress featured a criss-cross style with small black bugle beads sewn with precision into the fabric of the delicate dress. The criss-cross bodice also gave way to striking cutouts on either side of the waist.
Bell’s dress then transitioned at the waist to a sheer skirt, encrusted all over with pearls, sequins and delicate diamond pieces. The Armani Privé design was completely backless. As for accessories, Bell kept her jewelry minimal, save for a pair of statement earrings and some delicate rings.

While the dress itself was a standout on the Emmys red carpet, Bell’s look also served to pay homage to its designer. Giorgio Armani died at the age of 91 on Sept. 4. Over the course of the last week his designs have been spotted on high-profile stars.
At the London premiere of her film “A Big Bold Beautiful Journey” on Thursday, Margot Robbie wore a dress from the Giorgio Armani Privé spring 2025 couture collection. The look, also a sheer dress, featured intricate, botanical-inspired elements throughout and a backless silhouette. Cate Blanchett and Leslie Bibb were among the stars who wore Armani Privé at Sunday night’s Emmys.
