Kristin Cavallari and Lauren Conrad are friends again after filming the Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County reunion.
During the Tuesday, Oct. 21, episode of the Let’s Be Honest with Kristin Cavallari podcast, Cavallari, 38, revealed that she and her former arch-nemesis on the reality series, Conrad, 39, made up while filming the highly anticipated reunion, which is due out next year.
“Lauren and I are friends,” Cavallari announced on the podcast.
“I just got back from Laguna. I filmed the Laguna Beach reunion, which was awesome,” she said moments earlier. “I don’t even know what I’m allowed to say or not say … It was such a great time.”
Cavallari admitted on the podcast that she originally didn’t want to participate in the reunion, but said that filming the episode ended up being “really healing in a lot of ways.”

“It was very therapeutic,” said the podcast host. “And I think it’s funny because, if I’m being completely honest, I didn’t actually want to do it. And I’m really, really happy that I did.”
On Oct. 11, Cavallari let fans know that she and Conrad had made up as she posted a photo on Instagram of the pair smiling and embracing behind the scenes at the Laguna Beach reunion.
“Everyone can put away their team Lauren and team Kristin shirts now,” Cavallari wrote in the caption.
The mom of three added about the reunion on the podcast, “It was such a great experience. And just a nice way, I think, to end the whole, like, Laguna Beach of it all.”

Cavallari made her first TV appearance alongside Conrad in Laguna Beach in 2004. The reality series ran for three seasons and followed the pair’s tumultuous friendship as they navigated the ups and downs of high school life in Southern California.

In September, it was announced that the original cast was reuniting to mark the 20th anniversary of the show, with Stephen Colletti, Lo Bosworth, Talan Torriero, Trey Phillips, Christina Schuller, Dieter Schmitz, Jessica Smith, and Alex Hooser appearing on the special. Cavallari, Conrad and Coletti, 39, serve as executive producers on the show.
That same month, Conrad posted a series of throwback photos of the Laguna Beach cast as she confirmed the news.
“Let’s go back to the beginning … Reuniting the cast of Laguna Beach, coming to the Roku Channel in 2026,” she captioned the post.
