Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding can already claim the title of 2026’s pop culture event of the year. The ceremony at Madison Square Garden attracted the kind of guest list usually only seen at the Emmys or Oscars. And unsurprisingly, several late-night TV stars were in New York City to watch the power couple tie the knot.
Approximately 1,000 guests reportedly attended the wedding in New York City on July 3. Swift and Kelce invited celebrities from music, sports, television, movies, and more. Swift’s decades in the spotlight and Kelce’s more recent crossover appeal have meant the two often step into the world of late-night TV. Those connections made for some of television’s funniest personalities sitting in MSG to watch the wedding.
Easily the most surprising detail of the night was that comedy icon and Saturday Night Live alum Adam Sandler actually served as the official wedding officiant. Sandler has developed a close relationship with the couple over the last few years, including hooking Kelce up with a cameo role in Happy Gilmore 2.
Sandler wasn’t the only SNL star in the building. Both Swift and Kelce have hosted the sketch show, so they clearly made some important friendships while in Studio 8H.
Kansas City natives Rob Riggle, Jason Sudeikis and Heidi Gardner were both in attendance. Gardner played a major role in convincing Lorne Michaels to let the Chiefs’ tight end to host the show during her final run at SNL.
Former cast members Chris Rock and Bowen Yang were also spotted at the wedding. Current cast member Marcello Hernandez also got an invite, adding to his already busy summer schedule.
Late-night TV hosts past and present also got the chance to share Swift and Kelce’s special day. The Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon and Late Night host Seth Meyers made the guest list. Swift has sat down with both hosts over the years, and Kelce also has a Tonight Show appearance on his late-night TV resume.
Stephen Colbert, just a couple of months removed from The Late Show, was spotted leaving Madison Square Garden, too. Earlier this year, Swift sat down for a revealing interview with Colbert that recapped her experience making the Eras tour.
Late-night TV legend Conan O’Brien attended the wedding. He and Swift recently appeared together at a premiere event for Toy Story 5. And Graham Norton made the trip from Great Britain to see the celebrity wedding. The BBC host has a special connection to Swift thanks to her 2025 appearance on her show. Swift publicly invited Norton to the wedding and went on to put her fellow guests in the music video for “Opalite.”
Both Fallon and Meyers are off the air this week, meaning we won’t get any behind-the-scenes details or stories from the late-night hosts. Then again, maybe everyone in attendance knows better than to be the one to spill Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s secrets.
