On today’s The Young and the Restless recap:
Crimson Lights: Nikki and Lauren chat about their husbands. Nikki has no clue whether or not Victor and Michael are working together again. Lauren remembers how wounded Michael was by Victor’s apathy in France. Nikki notes Victor can be very cruel when he feels abandoned. Lauren tells Nikki that Cane offered Michael a job and he accepted. She notes how unpredictable he is and worries Cane wants to make Michael his possible scapegoat. Lauren confronted Michael about possibly being tied to Victor. He denied it but she knew he was lying. Nikki thinks Cane may have handed the duo a solid reason to reunite.
Newman Enterprises: Jack listens as Michael begs Victor to let him be the man on the inside with Cane. He wants a piece of information as proof of his loyalty. Victor wonders why he should trust either of them. Jack jumps in saying he cares very much for his family and knows they would suffer if Cane took down Newman. Victor gets all Victor when Jack says they can hate each other later. For now, they should focus their efforts on Cane and Michael agrees.
