New businesses coming to The Grove in Newark
A fast-casual restaurant, a bowling alley-and-entertainment hub, a wellness center and a cell phone store are coming to Newark’s The Grove in 2026.
The restaurant-bowling-alley-arcade, Lefty’s Alley & Eats, has pushed its Newark location opening back a month later than the company had originally announced.
According to the Lewes-based restaurant and entertainment venue’s website, the new location in The Grove is opening in July, instead of June.
While the venue won’t not be open as soon as some may have hoped, Lefty’s is still on track to bring a massive amount of food and fun to northern Delaware.
Lefty’s second location will have 55,000 square feet of entertainment, including 20 bowling lanes, ax throwing, golf simulators, darts and a stage for live performances.
The Newark Lefty’s also will feature a 6,000-square-foot arcade and the East Coast’s first Game Show Experience, according to the company’s website.
Aside from entertainment, the new location will have a restaurant, outdoor patio, beer garden and group event spaces.
The menu includes a variety of sandwiches, salads, burgers and pizza. Sweet treats on the menu include root beer floats, creamsicle floats and milkshakes.
