Venue operator Legends Global announced the appointments of Tom Alexander and Jenn Sonick as vice presidents of live entertainment, the company announced Wednesday.
Alexander, a live music executive with more than three decades of experience across touring, business affairs and concert promotion, and Sonick, a veteran booker and talent buyer, join Legends Global’s central content and booking team to bolster the company’s programming across 450 venues.
Legends Global’s programming includes concerts, family shows, entertainment events and live sporting events, and the venue operator has strategic partnerships with companies such as AEG Presents, Live Nation, Feld Entertainment, Outback Presents, LiveCo and more.
“Tom and Jenn each bring a remarkable depth of relationships and expertise that will strengthen our ability to deliver world-class programming across our venue network,” Jason Rio, senior vice president of live entertainment and content development at Legends Global, said in a statement. “Tom’s decades of experience on the touring and arena booking side, combined with Jenn’s track record of curating exceptional live experiences at iconic venues, make them ideal partners as we continue to grow our content and booking capabilities.”
Alexander began working in the music industry at Sony Music Entertainment before joining PACE Concerts and the booking team for Glen Helen Pavilion and Desert Sky Pavilion. He had touring and booking roles with artists including Andrew Bocelli and Yanni, and worked with AEG in Los Angeles and Dallas. He also worked at Live Nation supporting Nickelback’s tour and Roger Waters’ “The Wall Live.” Alexander booked the Allen Event Center in Allen, Texas, and Washington’s Tacoma Dome before taking on the role of vice president of live programming at OCVIBE, working primarily at Honda Center.
Sonick most recently served as director of programming at ATG Entertainment and oversaw talent buying for Kings Theatre and the Emerson Colonial Theatre, booking standout acts like Diana Ross, Ed Sheeran, Arctic Monkeys and Ellie Goulding. Prior to that role, Sonick managed booking and contracting across 14 of ATG’s venues in seven U.S. markets, was a talent buyer at Delic Corp and spent five years with AEG Presents-Rocky Mountains.
